Tournaments

All of our tournaments will be a No Limit Hold'em tournaments. Tournaments will be held bi-weekly at the Kings Head Public House, Bedfont, Middlesex and will be on Tuesday evenings.

Tables are to be seated at 8.00pm sharp. We would request that all players register by 7.30pm latest so that we know how many players we have that night and can have the necessary tables, chips etc set up.

The entrance fee to each tournament will be £1.00 per person. This is to assist us in covering the administration of the club, purchase of trophies etc.

Knights of Poker will be operating cash games which will be one tournament per event. Please read below for more details.

We will be operating in effect 3 games per tournament, namely a cash game, a points league system and a bounty hunter tournament.

Cash Games

Under new gaming laws, we can play for a maximum pot of £100.00

Your stake would be £5.00 per tournament (we only plan to run 1 per evening for the main event, if time allows another may be played but will not count towards league standings etc) and the prizes will be dependant on the final pot. If we have 20 players for a prize fund of £100.00 we will offer winnings based on 1st (£60.00) 2nd (£30.00) and 3rd (£10.00). If we only have 10 players then we will review the winning split on the night and to everyones agreement. If we have more than 20 players, the initial stake will be reduced to ensure that we do not exceed the £100.00 limit.

The main point we would like to make is, we are not operating this club for members to win big money. The new laws allows us to play for a limited pot so this will give members more incentive and hopefully improve their game as they will potentially win some money. The main aim is to meet other like minded players on a regular basis, have a great night and make the club into a social event.

League Points

For every tournament that is entered into, you will receive points that will go towards your season end final position. The point system is as follows;

Our points system is based on what position you leave the table, the winner gains the maximum 100 points and then it works down until player 10 and after receive 1 point. The full break down is on this page.

Once our membership grows, all players finishing 10th and below will receive 1 point each for their efforts.

'Bounty Hunter' Tournaments

At every event, we will also have a 'Bounty Hunter' tournament, which will be included within the main league tournament. Each player will be given an individual chip that will be their's until they are knocked out. Whoever knocks them out will receive this chip. If one player has accumulated 4 bounty hunter chips and is then subsequently knocked out, they pass only one of the bounty chips over, meaning they have scored 3 bounty hunter points for that particular event. This means you need to be careful on an all-in and makes for a more exciting game and a game within a game. It can also mean that whilst you may not win that particular seasons league tournament, you could still come out on top on the bounty. 1 point per bounty hunter chip and a prize will be awarded at the end of the season for the winner and runner up. *Please note that the best 10 will not apply to this tournament as it will be unfair to discount players you have 'successfully hunted!'
